Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Richardson Pearce, 95, went Home to be with the Lord on April 12, 2026 at her home with her family by her side.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 2:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastors Brandon Dupont and Daniel Hawtree officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
Mrs. Pearce was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pearce; parents, Harvey and Zilphia Richardson; brother, Berry Richardson; and nephew, Phillip Richardson.
Ann was a member of Kerwin Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and playing Dominoes and many other games. She loved every child she ever met and thought every meal she ever ate was the best she ever ate.
She is survived by her son, James W. Pearce (Katy), of Charleston, SC; daughter, Carolyn Salter (Bill), of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Jeffrey (LeAnn), Brian (Jodie), David (Michelle), Camille (Chris), Ryan (Alyson), and Natalie (Russell); “adopted grandchildren”, Ashley and Stephen; 14 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; special nephew, Mike Richardson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends whom she loved.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:30-1:45 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
