Love was not just in her name, it was in the way she lived her life and served others. April was married to the love of her live, Robert Lee Love for the last 50yrs. She enjoyed serving in hospitality with her church friends and family and ran a successful sandwich shop in Greensboro, Amy’s Sandwich Shop for many years. More than anything, she loved her family. To her, true family wasn’t always about blood. She believed that people were placed in our paths for a reason and believed in pouring herself into others regardless of what it cost. Among her passion for others, she was a devoted wife, mother and “bubba” (grandmother). She was beautifully unselfish and loved to share in meals, cookouts and celebrations. Her warmth and humor often brought light and comfort, and her generosity and resolve earned her the admiration of many. Her legacy of love and service will be treasured and remembered forever.
She left this earth on Monday, December 4th to enter heavens gates and celebrate her home going with her son, Phillip Curtis, mother, Inez Norris, father, C.B. Everhart and Step-father J.P Norris. Left to celebrate her home going is husband, Robert Lee Love, daughter, Amy E Love, grand-daughter Daylyn E Love and countless friends and loved ones whom she considered her family. The family would like to invite you to join them in their home (5937 Hickory Grove Rd, Greensboro, NC) on Sunday, December 10th from 1pm -3pm to celebrate and share memories of her life and a light snack.
