Obituary
Mr. Baise “Ossie” Auby Barley, 83, of Brown Summit, passed away on August 9, 2023.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mr. Barley was born in Guilford County on July 11, 1940, to the late James Herbert and Mary Cockman Barley. Along with his parents, Ossie was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Barley. He was retired from carpentry working many of his years with Ingold Construction.
He is survived by his two sons, Randy Barley (Jennifer) and Darren Shoe; his three grandchildren, Presleigh, Dallas and Memphis whom he adored and loved spending as much time as he could with them fishing and doing anything else they wanted to do with their grandpa; his brother, Tody Barley (Gilda) along with many nieces, nephews, and relatives.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gilda Barley and Delilah Barley for the help and love that they have shown and the family would also like to thank the hospice home of AuthoraCare Collective in Burlington.
