Barbara Ann (Haithcock) Maness

Barbara Ann Haithcock Maness West, 88, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Funeral service will be at 12:00pm on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Good Hope Baptist Church with Dr. James Sweeney and Homer Haithcock officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Maness was born in Richmond County, NC to the late David “Coy” and Elva Mae Haithcock. She was a faithful member of Good Hope Baptist Church for 56 years and worked for Norvell Tent Co. for 55 years. Barbara loved her cats and watching westerns, but the greatest joy of her life was raising her nephew and caring for her family.

Surviving are her nephew, Homer Haithcock and wife Joy, and son David Haithcock of the home. Also surviving are family members Dean Haithcock, Orvis Haithcock (Carol), Briana Brown, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am-12:00pm at the church prior to the service.
