Billy Wayne Cockman

Mr. Billy Wayne Cockman, 74 of Spencer, Virginia and formerly of Greensboro, passed away on July 18, 2025.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Billy was born in Guilford County on February 17, 1951, to the late Joseph Carlson Cockman, Sr. and Dorothy Louise Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his by his wife, Reba Lane Cockman and his brothers, Joe Cockman, Jr. and Steve Cockman. He was formerly a member of Newlyn Street United Methodist Church and was retired from Walkers Express Trucking.

He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Lynn Iacobucci (Mark) and Melissa Curtis (Cornelius); three grandchildren; five great grandchildren and his brother, Gary Cockman.
