Billy Wayne Powers

Billy Wayne Powers, 58, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020.

A memorial gathering will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020 at George Brothers Funeral Service. 

Billy was born February 26, 1962 in Lee County.  He was employed with Binswanger Glass for over 30 years.  He was an avid bull rider and loved attending PBR events.  He also enjoyed working on and showing trucks.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Levi Powers, Sr.

Billy is survived by his mother, Mary Powers; brothers, Jimmy Levi Powers, Sammy Powers, and George Levi Powers, Jr.; sisters, Sherry Powers Ray and Barbara Powers Dickerson; and several nieces and nephews.
