It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Blake Tuggle, who passed away on May 20, 2026, in Fort Campbell at the age of 21.
Blake was a loving son, brother, family member, and friend whose presence brought laughter and comfort to everyone around him. Known for his funny personality, kind heart, and selfless nature, Blake always thought of others before himself. He had a way of making people smile no matter the circumstance, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Blake proudly served his country in the United States Army, a role he deeply valued and dedicated himself to with honor. Outside of his service, he enjoyed fishing, spending time at the gun range, and making memories with his friends and family. Whether surrounded by loved ones or serving alongside fellow soldiers, Blake’s loyalty and love for others were evident in every part of his life.
Blake is survived by his mother, Amber Herndon; his father, Dewayne Herndon; and his sister, Haleigh Herndon, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 7, at George Brothers Funeral Service. The family will receive friends following the service.
The committal service, with miliary honors, will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, June 8, at Salisbury National Cemetery.
