Brenda Annette Lewis-Cauley

Mrs. Brenda Annette Lewis-Cauley, 74, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Scott Kidd officiating.  Burial will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lewis-Cauley was preceded in death by her parents, Lottie Mae Brown and Felix Griffin; great-grandson, Tatum Richardson; sister, Linda Howard; and nephew, Michael Allen.

Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was totally dedicated to her family.  She enjoyed her family time and was passionate about working with children in general.  She was a very dedicated Christian, spending time daily with her Lord working through several devotionals.  Brenda enjoyed spending her time shopping, vacationing with family, and working word searches.

She is survived by her husband, George Cauley; daughter, Susan Moore; son, Brad Cauley (Heather); grandchildren, Allison (Jason), Bishop, Cayla, Brent, and Raegan; great-grandchildren, Maycee and Brylee; as well as many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
