Brenda Gail (Brinkley) Mabe

Brenda Brinkley Mabe, 79, of Greensboro went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Midway Baptist Church with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Brenda was born in Surry County to the late Carl and Grace Brinkley. She was a longtime member of Midway Baptist Church. She retired from VF Corporation after thirty-five years. Following her retirement, Brenda worked with Volvo Trucks for several years.

Along with her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Mabe, Jr. along with four brothers and a sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Angie Finney (Kenneth) of Climax; sister, Susan Martin (Gene) of Mount Airy; grandson, Nicholas Finney and girlfriend Ashley of Climax; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Friday, August 23, 2024 at Midway Baptist Church.
