Brenda was born in Guilford County on November 9th, 1963 to the late Peggy Ann Osborne and John Daniel Osborne. She was a graduate of Ragsdale High School, Class of ’82. Brenda was employed with Guilford Mills for more than twenty years. She also worked as a CNA for several nursing facilities in Greensboro. Most recently, Brenda worked with Hamrick’s, also in Greensboro.
Brenda loved spending time with her family and helping others whether she knew them or not. It was not uncommon to find her buying things for others or catering for those in need. Everyone who knew Brenda, knew they would always have someone to call on.
Most of all, Brenda loved spending time with her grandkids, cooking and watching movies. She enjoyed listening to a good church service with her sister, Beth and brunch at K&W to follow.
She is survived by her son, John Mansfield (Ashley) and daughter, Ashley Mansfield all of Greensboro; sisters, Shannon Sutphin (Kenny) of Sofia, Barbara Buzga (Rick) of Pleasant Garden, Beth Mansfield (Glenn) of Greensboro, Angie Springs of Randleman, and Kimberly Shropshire of High Point; brother, Josh Osborne (Leanna) of Greensboro; and she leaves behind her grandchildren, Quantez, Kalaysia, Aubrie, Makayla, and Ian along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Brenda Mansfield will be remembered by her kind and stern spirit, beautiful smile, and courteous heart.
