Brenda Gail (Pegram) Welchel

Brenda Gail Welchel, 82, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 at her home surrounded by family.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Westminster Gardens with Chaplain Eddie Self officiating.

Mrs. Welchel was preceded in death by her husband, Otis “Mike” Welchel; and her son, John Michael Welchel.

Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who would always open her heart, her home, and kitchen to anyone who needed her.  She loved her family, loved cooking, music, playing the piano, bowling, never met a stranger, and loved the Lord.  To know her was to love her.  Singing was a passion and love.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Welchel (Joyce); daughter, Shelia Welchel; grandchildren, Gunner and Kayla Kattner; sister, Marion “Sister” Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:30-2:30 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service prior to the graveside service.
