Brenda "Yvonne" Jones Holcomb

Brenda “Yvonne” Jones Holcomb, age 70, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held 4:30 Saturday at George Brothers Funeral Service with a time of visitation beginning at 4:00pm.

A native of Greensboro, Yvonne was born to the late Rev. O.B. and Mozelle Norris Jones and attended John Wesley Bible College.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who prayed for her family daily.  She was a faithful prayer warrior and enjoyed singing southern gospel music with her sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Greg Jones.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years Mickey Holcomb; children Dawn Mowen (Jason), Mark Druley (Debra), Donnie Holcomb (Jennifer), and Jeff Holcomb (Lisa); sisters Gaye Lambert, Carol Dallas, Ronnie Jones (Brenda), and Becki Pollard; grandchildren Jeffery, Joshua, Morgan, London, Jadon, Ireland, Jordan, Kendall, Mathew, and Tanner; great-grandchildren Easton, Holland, Olivia, Ashton, and Mila.
