C. Taylor Sheppard

C. Taylor Sheppard, age 79, went Home to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Beacon Place.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, March 1, 2025. at the Greensboro Shrine Club with refreshments to follow, 5010 High Point Rd. Greensboro, NC 27407.

Taylor was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him, but most importantly he was a faithful servant to his Savior, Jesus Christ. While serving in several different ministries, he always enjoyed loving and caring for those attending his Sunday School class. He served the residents, of Morning View Assisted Living, as a Sunday School teacher. Not only was he faithful to his Lord and family, but he also retired from Arrow Equipment, after forty-eight years of service, as a parts and service manager.

He was preceded in death by his parents Claude Taylor, Sr. and Annie Woods; brother Dudley Sheppard, and best friend Tony Powers.

Taylor is survived by his loving wife, of fifty-five years, Susan Sheppard; sons Drew Sheppard (Heather) and Ben Sheppard (Kara); brother Jerry Sheppard.  He was adored by his grandchildren Mariella Sheppard, Maddy Sheppard, and Cason Sheppard.
