Camilla Lowe Henderson, 75, of Greensboro, NC died peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Greensboro in 1948 to Thomas Farley “Chester” and Frances Bumgarner Lowe. Camilla graduated from Sumner High School and went on to study Business Education at UNC-G. She worked as a teacher for over 30 years at Randleman High School and Southwest Guilford Middle School.
Camilla was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Frances Lowe and her husband, James Henderson. She is survived by her daughters Bethany Ballard (Michael) of Warner Robins, GA and Erin Henderson (Matthew Filak) of San Antonio, TX; her grandsons Braden and Preston Ballard; her best friend of 70 years Patsy Miller; her aunt Bobbie Redding; the faithful women of LIFT; and many devoted friends who filled her final days with joy.
Her service will be held at Burnetts Chapel Church on August 4, 2024, at 2:30, and the family will receive visitors at the home immediately following the service.
