Carmen Botts (Crabtree) Pinx

Mrs. Carmen Crabtree Botts Pinx, 71, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Beacon Place in Greensboro.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Walter Botts officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Pinx was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Rachel Crabtree; her first husband, Kenneth Botts; and second husband, Bruce Pinx.

Carmen loved and lived life to the fullest enjoying everything she was involved in.  She enjoyed crocheting, working word search puzzles, and always enjoyed being around and working with children.

She is survived by her sisters, Cathy Botts (Walter), Cynthia Botts (Doug), and Ida Pate; brother, Charlie Crabtree (Teresa); and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends whom she loved.

The family would like to extend a very special heart-felt “Thank You” to Carmen’s aid, Janine Davis at Blumenthal’s Nursing and Rehab Center for all of her love and care that she gave to her; as well as the nurses and staff at Beacon Place for their care.

The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
