Carol Alice Roberts Colwell

Carol Alice Roberts Colwell, 72, of Greensboro, joined the angels on Monday, November 1st, 2021.

Born on December 15th, 1948, Carol was the daughter of Phyllis & Arthur Roberts of Newton, MA. Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband George Russell Colwell Jr.

Carol is survived by her son, Donald George Colwell and his wife, Rhonda, three granddaughters, Victoria, Isabella and Gorgiana of Belews Creek, NC, Aunts, Alma & Betty Ann, brother Joe, two nieces and many cousins.

Carol owned and operated Colwell Appraisals, she always had a tape measure and step ladder in the back of her car ready to “peek” in the attic. Carol was a part of the “NASCAR” family for decades. But Carol’s favorite job was “Nanny” to her granddaughters and many other friends and neighbors along the way. She loved, spoiled, and guided them with endless love. She will be sorely missed but lovingly remembered by all.
