Carolyn Robertson Chandler

Carolyn Robertson Chandler, 73, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at George Brothers Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Carolyn was born August 14, 1952 in Guilford County to the late Linwood Robertson and Annie Edwards Robertson.  She loved gospel and beach music and sang in the band “Southern Flame”.  Carolyn loved spending time at the beach with her family and also had a love of butterflies.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, William Robertson, Wayne Robertson, Jonsie P. “Pinky” Robertson, Leon Robertson, Mary Alice Robertson, and Sue McQueen.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bill Chandler; children, David Ray Chandler and Lisa Chandler Lawson (Larry); grandchildren, Danny Chandler, Olivia Lawson, and Camden Lawson; brother, Bobby Robertson; sister, Betty Ann McQueen; and a host of nieces and nephews.
