Cash Walker Ray Whitaker

Cash Walker Ray Whitaker, age 3, of Greensboro passed away on March 16, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Bill Coble officiating. An inurnment committal will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Cash was born on May 11, 2019, in Greensboro, to his parents, Delton Ray Whitaker and Noelle Marie Scheffer. In his short time, he touched many lives. He never met a stranger and often made the statement, “ I love errrybodies”. He was full of life and loved music and dancing, climbing, and sneaking out of the house. On one occasion in particular, Cash snuck out of the house to play in the snow. He ended up removing his clothes and making snow angels! His spirit, laughter, and love of life will surely be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Autumn; grandfather, John Scheffer; and paternal grandparents “nana” Samantha and “pawpaw” Janet.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Miguel, David, Samantha, Summer, DJ and Olivia; maternal grandparents, “nini” Jennifer and “popop” Matthew, “pappy” David and “mawmaw” Angel and “grandpa Johnny” and grandma Michelle; great grandparents, Deborah Hewett and James Hewett; auntie Desdes, aunt Mamie, uncle Mike Mike, aunt Codi, aunt Nikki and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
