Cecil A. Ward

Mr. Cecil A. Ward, age 84, passed away Saturday October 25, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

A graveside inurnment service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 31, 2025, at Lakeview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends following the service.

A native of Hyde County, North Carolina, Cecil was a proud veteran of the United States Army, while serving in Germany, during the Vietnam War as a sergeant. He was and avid Dallas Cowboy’s fan and lived life to the fullest. Cecil was loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his sons Jeffery Lee Ward and Mallorey Lee Ward.

Cecil is survived by his wife, of twenty-four years, Rosetta Evans Ward; children Chad Lee Ward (Melissa), Tink Marshall, and Tony Evans (Jennifer); grandchildren Alec Ward, Rachel Vanover (Chris), Billy Hammock (Brittney), Nathan Hammock, Lindsay Roberson (Daniel), Issac Evans, Emily Evans, and Ezra Evans.  Also surviving are eleven great-grandchildren.
