Charles Monroe Cook, 90, of Greensboro died Monday, August 25, 2025 at Collective’s Beacon Place.
A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Guilford Memorial Park with military honors.
Charlie was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Korean conflict. He served as a manager with DuPont Real Estate Inc. for thirty-six years in Boston, Massachusetts. Charlie was a member of Guilford Baptist Church here in Greensboro.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Cook of the home; children, Emma Cook of Lynchburg, VA, Calvine Austin (Ian) of Maine, Keri Cook of New Hampshire, and Paul Cook (Karen) of Orlando, FL; step children, Debbie Jones (Wayne) of Lexington, SC, Terry Lutin of Florida, and Phyllis Greene (Randy) of Govan, SC; eighteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
