Cheryl Lynn Woodfin Patille, 68, of Greensboro passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Hospice of High Point.
Funeral service will be held 2:00pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Pleasant Garden Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Barrett officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm at the church prior to the service.
Cheryl was born in Guilford County, NC to the late Ray and Jane Woodfin. She graduated from Smith High School. She was a member of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church. Her greatest devotion was to her family, always attending her childrens sporting events, and more recently cherishing her time spent with grandchildren. She loved to cheer on the Atlanta Braves, Washington Redskins, and NC State Wolfpack. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Janell Patille; the father of her children Harry B. Patille; and her grandmother Delia Wilkins.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Brandon Patille (Cristy) and Melanie Hunter (Ronnie); grandchildren Hugo Patille, Lina Patille, and Waylynn Hunter; sister Joyce Thomas; and nephews Chris Thomas and Zach Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left to Pleasant Garden Baptist Church Youth Program.
