Clay Arley Wyrick, 80, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, November 24, 2025 at George Brothers Funeral Service.  The burial will follow at Johnson Baptist Church in Browns Summit, where he was a member.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Clay was born November 23, 1944 to the late Cicero A. Wyrick and Kathleen Andrews Wyrick.  He served in the US Army during Vietnam.  He was a mechanic for most of his life and also worked for Miller/Ball Corporation for over 25 years.  Clay loved tearing things apart and eventually putting them back together.  He loved cars, tractors, going fast, go karts, NASCAR, short track racing and seldom missed a Friday night race at Ace Speedway.  His love for cars and people was unexplainable.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Lincoln Wyrick and sister, Pansy Summers.

He is survived by his sons, Brent J. Wyrick and Matthew J. Wyrick; grandchildren, Madelyn Wyrick, Abby Wyrick, Savannah Wyrick, Sebastian Wyrick and Leigh Ann Wyrick; and sisters, Margie May, Shirley Ross, and Betty Coble.
