Clyde Eugene Garrett

Mr. Clyde Eugene Garrett, age 92, went Home to his Heavenly Father on Thursday March 27, 2025 peacefully at High Point Hospice Home.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Community Baptist Church with Rev. JR Gossett officiating the service.  The family will receive friends following the service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Hodgin Garrett.

Mr. Garrett was born in Guilford County to the late Clyde Coffer and Lucy Fraley Garrett. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was faithful in caring for his family.  He was a member of Community Baptist Church and loved being a truck driver for nearly 70 years.

He is survived by his children Sandy Baker of Greensboro; Debbie Harris of Greensboro, and Steven Garrett of Charlotte; also surviving are five grandchildren and three great-grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont 1801 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC 27262.
