Obituary
Connie Purvis Jones, 63, of Alamance County, passed away Thursday August 3, 2023, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
Connie was born in Guilford County to the late Charles Henry and Betty Silverthorne Purvis. She graduated from Grimsley High School and attended New Testament Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially cooking for them. Connie was a lover of all animals and adored her own cats. She enjoyed watching soap operas and loved to get her hands in the soil, possessing a special ability to make anything grow anywhere. She loved, and was loved, dearly.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Mark Purvis.
Surviving are her brothers, Richard Purvis and wife Lori, and extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
