Daniel "Danny" Alexander Rudisill

Daniel “Danny” Alexander Rudisill, 66, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at Definition Church on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 2 pm. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Friday, November 22, 2024, at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Danny was born April 12, 1958, in Alamance County to the late Herman Alexander Rudisill and Geneva Hildebran Rudisill. He was the proud founder and owner of Piedmont Printing and Graphics, a business he built and led for 34 years. His son, Logan Rush Rudisill, will honor Danny's legacy by continuing the family business.

Danny was a devoted member of Definition Church, serving faithfully in many roles, including supporting the church’s mobile locations for over a decade. A passionate history enthusiast with a sharp sense of humor, Danny also enjoyed playing sports with his sons and coaching their basketball, football, and baseball teams. A dedicated athlete, Danny completed seven marathons, including the prestigious Boston Marathon in 1988. He and his beloved wife, Donna, also enjoyed tandem cycling adventures on the Rails to Trails paths.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Donna Rayle Rudisill; his sons, Lawson Alexander Rudisill and Logan Rush Rudisill; and his sister, Linda Covington, and her husband, Harold Covington.
