Danny Eugene Williams

Mr. Danny Eugene Williams, of Greensboro died Sunday, March 22, 2026 at his residence.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2026 at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.

Danny was born June 10, 1953 in Giles Co. Virginia to the late Arnold and Betty Williams, Sr. He was employed with R. W. McPherson Construction in Greensboro for many years, where he was known as one of the best concrete finishers in the area. Danny was a loving husband and father. He loved NASCAR racing and fishing, but mostly he loved to make people laugh with his bubbly personality. Danny was best known as a compassionate and gentle man.

Along with his parents, Danny is preceded in death by sister, Freda Jones and half-brother, Arnold Lee Williams, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Smith Williams; daughter, Taylor Leann Williams; brother, Donald Ray Williams; sister, Anna Caldwell; and half-brothers, Robert Williams, Jamie Williams, and Glenn Bond; along with a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
