Daphne Lynn Nance

Daphne Lynn Nance, 63, of Greensboro passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

Graveside service will be held 11:00am Monday, June 9, 2025, at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00pm on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at George Brothers Funeral Service.

 Daphne was born on March 24, 1962, in Guilford County to the late Leo and Kathleen Hutchens Nance. She graduated from Southeast Guilford High School and attended Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. Daphne held several jobs over the years with First Union Bank, Goodwill, The Greensboro Coliseum, the Greensboro Hornets, Greensboro Bats, and most recently the Greensboro Grasshoppers.

In addition to her parents, Daphne is preceded in death by her sisters Linda Brewer and Karen Nance; brother Kenneth “Kenny” Nance; nephews Robbie Nance, Dustin Glass, and Anthony Nance; sister-in-laws Sharon Nance and Becky Nance; brother-in-law Butch Brewer.

Surviving are her brother Donald Ray Nance; sister Dena Perdue (Mike); nieces Janet Baughn, Shannon Parrish, and Tammy Martin; nephews Kenny Nance, Jr., Steven Nance, Joey Benton, and Matt Perdue. Also surviving are numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends who loved her dearly
