Mr. David Arnold, affectionately known to some as "Toad," "Cowboy," and to others as "Paw-Paw," 75, of McLeansville, passed away on November 25, 2024.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, in the mausoleum chapel at Lakeview Memorial Park, with Pastor Robert Decker officiating.
David was born in Abingdon, Virginia, on March 17, 1949. After dedicating 40 years to operating and owning Southern Comfort Heating and Air, he retired. However, after retiring, he felt compelled to continue assisting his clientele with heating and air needs. Throughout his life, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends in the great outdoors. One of his greatest passions was raising and riding Quarter Horses.
He was preceded in death by his son, David C. Arnold; father, Earl June Arnold; sister, Sylvia Parker; and brother, Johnny Arnold.
David Arnold is survived by his daughter, Angela Steele; granddaughters, Savannah Steele and Hanna Arnold; mother, Violet Arnold Bass; sister, Christine Hasty; and brother, Danny Arnold.
