Obituary
David K. Williams, 78, of Greensboro died Friday, May 5, 2023 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 11, 2023 at George Brothers Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Jeff Stone. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 PM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service and again on Friday, May 12, 2023 at the home from 2-5 PM.
A native of Guilford County, David retired from Wrangler Textile in 2006 following forty-two years. He was of the Baptist faith. David was a loving husband that adored his wife of sixty years, Rhonda, whom he did his best to spoil over the years.
David is preceded in death by his sons, David and Don Williams.
In addition to Rhonda, David is also survived by several grandchildren including Ryan Williams and Justin Williams (Amanda) of Greensboro, and Ashley Teel of North Wilkesboro; a host of great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and daughters-in-law, Kay McKenzie-Williams and Terry Williams.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses of the heart unit at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital for their companion and care of David.
