David Lynn Streets

David Lynn Streets, 78, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

Due to the forecasted weather, the Celebration of Life originally scheduled for Sunday, January 25, 2026 has been postponed to 11:00 am, Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Woodlake Baptist Church.

David was born November 16, 1947, in Philippi, West Virginia to the late Wilbur Scott Streets and Juanita McBee Streets.  He served his country in the US National Guard.  During his younger years he owned and operated his own construction company in West Virginia.  He later worked for Guilford Mills for over 16 years, as well as various other jobs as an electrician.  He loved to paint, ride motorcycles, and fly fishing. 

He was preceded in death by his stepson, Brian K. Satterfield.

David is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marlene F. Streets; stepson, Anthony L. Satterfield and his wife, Alibel; step grandson, Francis Latorena; and sister, Cynthia Diane McCoy.
