David "Butch" Eugene Chrismon

Mr. David “Butch” Eugene Chrismon, 80, of Brown Summit, passed away at his residence with his family by his side, on January 25, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Hunter Hills Church, 1201 Merritt Drive, in Greensboro. The burial will follow at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery, 5222 NC Highway 150 E. in Brown Summit.

The family will receive friends at Hunter Hills Church one hour prior to the service.

David was born in Guilford County on April 2, 1945, to the late Elmo and Blanche Chrismon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Chrismon and his brother-in-law, Dan Daniel. He was a member of Hunter Hills Church for more than fifty years. He was retired from the North Carolina National Guard after serving more than twenty years. He was also retired from Carolina Steel and later worked with his son-in-law at Rose Reprographics.

David is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Sybil Snuggs Chrismon; daughter, Laura Chrismon Rose (Todd); grandchildren, Jeremy Rose and Cameron Rose; sister, Maxine Daniel; sister-in-law, Margie Chrismon and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
