Delbert Henry Smith, 79, died Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his father PVT. Floyd Greene Smith and mother Margaret Rose Meris. Also are three kids of his Delbert Henry Smith Jr., Kris Wayne Smith and daughter Wendy Marie. There are four of his brothers Billy, Larry, Randy and Jerry. Also, two sisters named Betty Smith and Debra Meris.
He was survived by his wife Lear Smith and two sons Dale Ray Smith, girlfriend of Taylor Dudis and Delbert James Smith. There are eight siblings: Fred Meris and wife Debra Meris, John Meris, Bobby Meris and wife Brenda Meris, Kenny Meris, George Meris, Brenda McCannon and husband George, Teresa Huffman and husband Phillip, Lona May Risin.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Friday, May 5, 2023, at George Brothers Funeral Service.
