Delores "Sally" (Wood) Sipe

Mrs. Delores “Sally” Diane Wood Sipe, 79, passed away Friday March 17, 2023 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at Mt. Hope Baptist Church, 1117 Mt. Hope Church Road, McLeansville, NC 27301, on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 2:00pm.

Mrs. Sipe was dearly loved by everyone who ever knew her. She was a member of Mt. Hope Baptist Church. Delores was an avid fan of Elvis and enjoyed watching Andy Griffith. She loved her dog Coco and would do anything and everything to meet the needs of her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Wood and Dorothy Moore; brothers, Bobby Wood and Doug Wood.

Sally is survived by her loving husband, Harold Sipe; children, Kathy Wright (Butch), Wayne Feagans (Kelley), Steve Feagans (Micki), and William Feagans; step-children, Harold Jr., Matthew, April, and Carre Charles who has been a special help; 7 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; loving sister, Patricia Hawkins; aunt, Betty Woody; also surviving are numerous extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

The family extends a heartfelt “Thank You” to Hospice of Burlington, and especially to Nurse Audrey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Mt. Hope Baptist Church, or to Hospice of Burlington.
