Delores "D.D." Dare (McCaskill) Hutchins

Delores “D.D.” Dare McCaskill Hutchins, 74, of Greensboro, passed away on September 28, 2025.

The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 2, at George Brothers Funeral Service. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 3, also at George Brothers Funeral Service. The burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

D.D. was born in Guilford County on March 18, 1951, to the late James McCaskill and Bessie Armstrong McCaskill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Fred Hutchins, Sr.; her son, Daniel Ray Hutchins and her daughter, Crystal Lynn Hutchins. She was a loving and faithful member of Leading Way Baptist Church and was retired from A.B.B. after many years of service.

D.D. is survived by her children, Raymond Hutchins, Jr. (Amy), Thomas Hutchins and Jeff Hutchins (Trisha); grandchildren, Jacob Hutchins (Emily), Jody Hutchins, Lanie Hutchins, Jeffrey Hutchins (Ash), Justin Hutchins (Summer), Jason Hutchins, Christopher Hutchins and Brandon Hutchins; her greatgrandchild, Raelee Hutchins and her sisters, Dorothy Motsinger and Shirley Shoemaker.
