Dianne (McNeill) King

Mrs. Dianne McNeill King, 75, of Greensboro, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 8, 2023, at her home.

Funeral service will be held 3:00pm Monday, September 11, 2023, at Briggs Memorial Baptist Church 1344 Rankin Mill Road McLeansville, NC 27301. Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery.

Dianne was born in Miami Beach, Florida to the late Dallas and Lucy McNeill. She married Ronnie, the love of her life, on November 5, 1966. Mrs. King retired after working as a customer service manager with Southern Optical for over 38 years. She had many friends whom she cherished dearly. Dianne loved being at the lake with her family and supporting her grandchildren at their sporting events. She also enjoyed working outside in the yard and her flowers, as well as her beloved dog Duncan.

As well as her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Bobby and her sister-in-law Evelyn McNeill.

Mrs. King is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ronnie “John” King; children, Craig King (Machelle), Chad King (Mandy), and Chan Canter (Jeff); grandchildren, Austin Canter, Braxton King, Jonathan King, Karsen King, Colton Canter, Kaley King, and Kase King; brothers, Jimmy McNeill (Elaine), and Gary McNeill (Debbie). Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, friends and family members who will miss her dearly.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm at the church prior to the service.
