Donald Meadows Lewis

Mr. Donald Meadows Lewis, 88, passed away on February 11, 2021 at Beacon Place.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 16, at George Brothers Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Lewis was born April 13, 1932 in Guilford County to the late George and Lucille Lewis. He was a former member of Florida Street Baptist Church and was retired from P. Lorillard. He loved golf, baseball, tennis and bowling. He also loved to take care of animals and really loved his present dog, "Jack".

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Ann Lewis; his longtime companion, Brenda McDaniel; brothers, Richard Lewis, Allen Lewis and sister, Mary Lewis Mills.

He is survived by his children, Cynthia White ( Danny ) and Donna Brannock (Don); step sons, Eddie McDaniel and Kelly McDaniel; grandchildren, Dawn Brann (Don), Chris Brannock (Jennifer), Mandi Wilson (Chris), Christine White and Lauren Taylor (Daniel) and great grandchildren, Haley Brannock, Marissa Brann, Jonathan Brann, Matthew Brann, Jannah Brann, Ty Brannock and Trent Brannock.

Memorials may be made to Authoracare (formerly Hospice of Greensboro).
