Douglas F. Curtis

Mr. Douglas F. Curtis, 85, of Greensboro, went home to be his Lord and Savior on August 2, 2019.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, NC with Pastor Frank Shumate and Pastor Matt Morrison officiating. The burial, with military honors, will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at the church beginning at 12:30.

Mr. Curtis was born August 7, 1933, in Caldwell County to the late James and Ola Crisp Curtis. Along with this parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Minnie Coffey and Annie Enloe, and his brother, James Curtis. He was a faithful member of Gospel Light Baptist Church for over 48 years and he was a veteran of the Unites States Navy.

Mr. Curtis is survived by his wife of 62 years, Audrey W. Curtis; his daughters, Pamela C. Lawson (Kent) and Kathy A. Curtis; his grandchildren, Curtis Passe (Marsha) and Brandon Passe (Rebekah); his great grandchildren, Raylan Passe and Gavin Passe; sister, Wilda C. Keever and host of other extended family and friends.
