Mr. Dwight Lee Reed, 56, a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle went home to his Heavenly Father on Saturday July 25, 2020 at his residence unexpectedly.
A visitation will be Friday, July 31, from 5:30-7:30pm at Sure Foundation Baptist Church.
Dwight was born in Guilford county to Marvin and Joyce Woodell Reed of Greensboro. He was a 1982 graduate of Southern Guilford High School, where he enjoyed wrestling, and received the Golden Wrench Award. He was employed with A-OK Electric as a generator service technician, an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan. He was a talented short track crew chief that enjoyed building race cars and racing them at Caraway Speedway with his father Marvin.
Dwight will always be remembered for his hearty laugh, boundless compassion, uncanny ability to fix anything, a deep knowledge of the universe, and mostly his emotional generosity.
