Earl "Keith" Burns

Mr. Earl "Keith" Burns, 70, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.

There will be a memorial gathering on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 12:00-1:30pm at George Brothers Funeral Service and then the family would like to gather with friends at Bon Bon Wings & Grill located at 3605 Groometown Rd. Greensboro, NC 27407 from 2:00-5:00pm.

Keith had retired from the Guilford County School System after 30 years of service, and had also worked for the Greensboro Police Department.  He loved riding his Harley and doing charity rides, and loved his Mustang “Christine”.

Mr. Burns was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen Burns; and close friends, Ronnie Jones and David Johnson.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Oliver (Kevin Henderson); grandchildren, Paige Oliver, Summer Oliver, Bradley Henderson, Megan Griffin, and Ryan Oliver; great-grandchildren, Nova Murrain, Chelsea Griffin, Greyson Oliver, and Gabriel Oliver; brother, Frank David Burns, III; sister, Robin Price; as well as several nieces, nephews, family members and friends whom he loved.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the World War II Museum at Administrative Offices Carolina Field of Honor 600 N. Regional Road Greensboro, NC 27409.
