Etta Dunevant Cobb

Mrs. Etta Dunevant Cobb, 84, of McLeansville, passed away on October 10, 2021.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday at New Bessemer Baptist Church. The burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Cobb was born in Rockingham County on November 29, 1936 to the late James and Maggie Bowes Dunevant. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Cobb. She was a lifetime member of New Bessemer Baptist Church where she was the pianist and a member of the choir. She was also a member of The McLeansville Fire Auxiliary.

Mrs. Cobb is survived by her children, Chris Cobb (Rhonda) and Jeanette Bare (Grady); grandchildren, Lisa Kiser, Dallas Bare, Maggie Cobb, and Layton Cobb; great grandchildren, Garrison Bare, Elliott Bare, and Austin Kiser and her brother, Bobby Dunevant.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Bessemer Baptist Church Bus Fund.
