Eugenia "Jean" Elizabeth (Covington) Causey

Eugenia “Jean” Causey, 96, died Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Ashton Health and Rehabilitation. 

A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian.

Mrs. Causey was born August 18, 1927 in Guilford County to the late William Henry and Ida Richardson Covington.  She retired from Justice Drug Company.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles Bruce Causey.

Mrs. Causey is survived by her son, Bruce “Monty” Causey; grandchildren, Christina Laney (Neil) and Greg Causey (Lindsey); great-grandchildren, Nolan and Levi Causey; sisters, Debra Schmidt and Betty Bowman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Thrive Church, 2548 NC-87, Graham, NC 27215.
