Frances Earlene (Parrish) Hunt

Frances Earlene Parrish Hunt, 79, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at Hospice Home of High Point.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 1:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Nellie Parrish; and daughter, Michelle Weaver

Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.  She loved to dance and was an avid collector of country music cd’s.  She loved to assist those in her Gardengate community by providing transportation to doctor appointments, grocery stores, and any other way she could be of help to her friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her daughter, Ronda Moore; daughter, Connie Whaley (Larry); son, Les Redner (Angela); son, Pastor Jeff Smith; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Hunt (Alton), Lynn Hunt (Eugene), Pat Callahan (David), Beverly Connell, and Pam Callahan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends whom she loved.

The family would like to extend a very special and heart-felt “Thank You” to her granddaughter, Tiffany Hunt for dedicated care that she provided to Frances in her home allowing her to stay at home and not have to go to a nursing home.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-12:45 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
