Frances Hussey (Hussey) Smith

Frances Hussey Smith, 92, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025 at her home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 11:00 am at George Brothers Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Centre Friends Meeting Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Smith; parents, Carmie and Pearl Brower Hussey; and sister, Jackie Henry.

Frances was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who read her Bible regularly and enjoyed working puzzle books.

She is survived by her daughter, Faith Davis (Jimmy); son, William Smith (Tami); grandchildren, Jimmy, Stephanie, Heather, Scott, and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Ben, Jacob, Ryan, Cory, Tyler, and Elijah; sister, Peggy Jarrett; brother-in-law, Floyd Smith (Elsie); and a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of one’s choosing.
