Fredric “Rick” Alan Werner, 69, of Climax, NC passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by family.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Restoration at The Rock with Pastor Joey Baynes officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at the church, prior to the service.
Rick was born in Fort Knox, KY to the late Robert and Elma (Noe) Werner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janet (Cookie) Crockett.
Rick loved his children and family deeply. His interests included NASCAR, muscle cars, fishing, watching his favorite show Judge Judy, and never missing an opportunity for a “good” dad joke. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Rick leaves behind his son, Jason [Megan] Brown; daughters, Michelle Werner Brookbank and Angel Werner; grandsons, Sean Brown and Colton Brown; great grandson, Easton Brown and a great granddaughter due in September 2024; brothers, Steve [Mary] Werner and Danny Werner; as well as several nieces and nephews.
