Freeda Mae (Puckett) Hunt

Mrs. Freeda Mae Puckett Hildreth Hunt, 87, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 2:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Mike Barkley officiating.  Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sarah Puckett; and husband, Grier Hunt.

Freeda enjoyed playing bingo, and loved watching Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy.  She was a real character who was loved by all that knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Newman (Richard); daughter, Glora Souder (Greg); son, Dewayne Hildreth; daughter, Eunice Hildreth; grandchildren, Daphne, Brad, Brandon, Gina, Greg, Joshua, Jordan, and Ricky; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Martin Puckett (Thelma); brother, Glenn Puckett (Dee); sister, Hazel Faris; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
