Garland Waldo Andrew

Mr. Garland Waldo Andrew, 73, a lifelong resident of Guilford County, passed away January 3, 2020 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Burnetts Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Armfield officiating.

Garland was born October 18, 1946 to the late Edgar Harrison and Mary Louise Smith Andrew. He was a lifelong member of Burnetts Chapel United Methodist Church where he played the piano. Garland was always employed in the printing industry and was a proud Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army. In his former years, he enjoyed his time serving as a volunteer with Pinecroft/Sedgefield Fire Department.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burnetts Chapel UMC, 1201 Burnetts Chapel Road, Greensboro, NC 27406.
