Garland Eugene Henley

Garland Eugene Henley, 77, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021at Randolph Hospice House.

Funeral will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Rock Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Garland was born October 31, 1943 in Guilford County to the late Grover Clarence and Pansy McCandless Henley. Garland was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church and a retired roofer and carpenter.

Along with his parents, Garland is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra Kay Henley; son, Hank E. Henley; brother, Clarence “Junior” Henley; and sister, Swannie Henley.

He is survived by son, Jody Henley (Bethany); daughter, Dody Adams (John); grandchildren, Alex Adams (Elizabeth), Miranda Thompson (Cody), and Kaydee Adams; and great grandchild, Clara Thompson; sister, Georgia Reid; and brother, Allyn Henley (Sharron).

We wish to extend a special thank you to all the loving and caring people who have looked after Garland over the years.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at George Brothers Funeral Service.
