Gary "Pete" Lee Phillips, Sr.

Gary Lee Phillips Sr. (Pete), age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 26, 2024, at his residence.

Pete was born, in Greensboro, NC, to the late Alvin Phillips and Minnie Goins. He was also preceded in death by his brother Butch Phillips. Pete graduated from Smith High School and worked his entire career in the printing industry.

Pete is survived by his loving wife Ann Hundley Phillips of 48 years; daughter Stacy Kirkman (David) and grandchildren, Andrew, Allyson, and Monica; son Gary Phillips Jr. (Jenny) and grandson Gaines.

A celebration of life service will be held at The Farm on Groometown Sunday, August 18, 2024. The family will gather to receive friends, share stories, and have one more for Pete from 2:00-6:00 pm.
