Gaye Virginia Rollins

Mrs. Gaye Virginia Estes Rollins, 78, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Burlington Hospice House.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 29th, 2026 at George Brothers Funeral Service beginning at 12:00pm. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rollins was born in Surry County, NC to the late William and Ruby Gardner Estes. She worked for many years as a pharmacist assistant. When she wasn’t spending time painting or enjoying trips to the beach, you could find her in her favorite recliner watching Rawhide on channel 62. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Gaye is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Michelle Hicks.

Mrs. Rollins is survived by her loving husband Charles Edward Rollins; children Ginger Hunter (Larry Carlton), Chuck Rollins, and Lorie Macapagal (Raldwin); grandchildren Blake Collins, Josh Hicks, and Christopher Hicks; great-grandchildren Kate, Logan, JaidaGrace, and Karleigh; sister Bitsy Cantrell (Jonny); and her sister-in-law Judy Escontrias.
