George Thomas Metty

George Thomas Metty was taken into the loving arms of our Savior on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 with his loving family by his side.

Funeral service will be 4:00pm Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Friendly Hills Church. A private burial will be held for the family.

George was our beloved son who brought joy and light to all he met. All who came in contact with George, all who loved him, always commented that he was so observant, even in his early days. We believe he was put on a special mission to warm and soften the hearts of all of us. To teach us to love and trust God more deeply. His life was short, but his impact is far reaching. We will forever cherish our memories with him as we long for that wonderful day when we will hold him again in the eternal presence of our merciful Savior.

George is survived by his parents, Nathan and Mary Metty; his siblings, Emma, Henry, and Cora Metty; paternal grandparents Kirk and Kellee Metty and maternal grandparents Mike and Teresa Flanders; great-grandparents Cleo and Pat Metty, Jim and Janice Brackett, Ann Roderick, Vilda Collison, and Janis Flanders; also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family members who all adored George.

The Family will receive friends from 2:00pm-3:30pm prior to the service at the church as well as following the service in the foyer.
